An addon that I recently uploaded displays the message "Please note that your project will not syndicate until your project has at least one beta or release file and has been approved by an administrator. ". I have already uploaded a file and it appears that it has been approved. Is this a bug, or am I doing something wrong? My project is here: http://wow.curseforge.com/projects/baud-error-frame/
1. I can't find your project... The link you provided leads to nowhere and search won't reveal anything under that name either.
but
2. you have to upload a beta or release file. Tag your upload as beta or release (whatever is appropriate) and your project should syndicate with curse (you can tag your files after the upload on Curseforge)

You're not doing anything wrong. The project just hasn't been approved yet.

Hmm, that's odd. The link worked fine for me before, and it still does. I have a file uploaded which is labeled a release, and the status changed to normal once it had passed review. I wonder if this issue has anything to do with the fact that I had previously put this project on Curse a year or two ago, and now I'm re-posting it because it had disappeared (possibly because I hadn't updated it in a long time).
Yes, this is correct behavior Baudzila. Only administrators and the project leader can see the project before it is approved. Everyone else will get a "it does not exist" error.
I had this problem with 2 of my projects. The first did not syndicate for awhile after I uploaded it and figured it was just a matter of time. I continued to edit my Add-On and uploaded a new version and then they were syndicated.
The other project I had was similar. I uploaded the original beta and it would not syndicate for 2 days. I decided to upload the same file, and sure enough it syndicated immediately.
There seems to be a bug with file syndication. You need to upload 2 files for the project manager to see it.

This seems to be correct. I had message "This project has no files!" on my project page, after i uploaded second file message was gone. When i deleted one of them message reapeared.

I think.

Also, I love your signature Torhal.
