Does anyone know of a coding environment or other such application that can parse a series of lua files (such as an addon) and have it highlight/print an output of variables defined, but not used and/or functions that are called, but have not been defined and/or functions that have been defined but are not used?
I would appreciate any help any one could provide :)
Any time I do cleanup of that sort, I have the file displayed twice (in the same editor, so all updates are done across both views) - I start at the top in one view and do a search in the second. If I don't find a match, the variable or function goes away.
This approach only works for a single file - beyond that, you're looking at using "grep".
