I'm having a little trouble getting raid target icons to appear in a tooltip. I'm using LibQTip for the record, although I'm fairly certain it's not the problem.
I took a quick look at the way Broker_Currency puts the money icons in, and from this I gathered that all I really need to do is put the path to the texture (escaping slashes) in a string with "|T" at either end. I'm also guessing that before the closing "|T", I can put 4 integer values separated by colons to change a few properties of the texture.
If someone could point me to a Wiki or something where all this is explained, I would be very grateful. I basically want to know what those integers do (I'm pretty certain the first 2 are X and Y size).
I went to wowcompares.com, looked in FrameXML\ChatFrame.lua and found that the texture path I want is "Interface\\TargetingFrame\\UI-RaidTargetingIcon_1" (I want 1 for the Star and 8 for the Skull, specifically). Now, the string defined in this file already has a "|T" at the beginning, but ends in a colon. I've tried replacing the colon with a closing "|T", and I've tried inserting the 4 integers (using examples from Broker_Currency) and all I get displayed is a string, not a texture.
I noticed Broker_Currency uses "\124T" instead of "|T". I tried doing this as well and it didn't solve my problem either.
Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? What string is the "|T" thing expected? Is LibQTip the problem?
