I'm trying to make textures by converting PNG's to BLP's, but every single one I make turns into a big green block. I don't have Photo Shop or Visual Basic nor do I want to buy Photo Shop or Visual Basic.
Coding I'm good at, but graphics are not my cup o' tea.
i would suggest going to tga instead of blp as tga is a standard format and VERY simple (a tiny, tiny header and then a raw dump of the image planes). the wow api stuff can use tgas or blps, just make sure you give it the .tga extension when specing your texture in the xml or lua code.
