I have played around a little with the FauxScrollFrameTemplate, and I managed to get something working with data stored in a table, where I simply populate the scrollframe with datas from index i to i+x.
For another part of my addon, I would like to use a scrollframe as well, but I'm not sure I should use a FauxScrollFrameTemplate there too. What I'm trying to do is to "build" each line of the scrollframe outside of the "update" function, and because data are already stored in self.db and I'm trying to build lines in very different formats, it would not be a good idea to use another table to populate that scrollframe, as it would only mean duplicating a large amount of data.
Is there a way I could for instance populate the frame with say 40 lines (of whatever frame type I want) and only let the system handle the display part ? like showing them 8 by 8 ?
I already tried doing this myself by replacing the anchors of the frames, but it didn't work too well.
