Currently the $10 Amazon.com gift cards are out of stock - that's completely understandable, I'm sure they're the most popular.
I'm not trying to nag, I'm just wondering on average how long it usually takes before they're restocked - if anyone knows. Is it something that I should check back every few days, or should I not expect to see it for a few months? Or is it just random and unpredictable? Just looking for a ballpark time frame, not any specific dates or promises.
Whenever I've noticed something out of stock it's taken 5-7 days before it was back in stock. Since that's about how long it generally takes to get my gift cards, I'd guess that whoever handles that stuff only checks in once or twice a week. If it's been longer than a week, you can send Kaelten a PM to get things moving. I generally don't pester him if it's been under a week, though, since I'm sure he's got tons of other things to do! :p
The cards have been restocked at least once since I created this thread for those who were wondering. I created this thread mid-march and the cards were restocked early April. So it shouldn't take too long.
empty again, well almost, theres a couple of US20s left.
i noticed that you cant order them when theyre out of stock, perhaps if we could do that and have the order fulfilled later it could make it a bit easier to know whats needed? and you wouldnt need to spend money on extras just to fill up the store, just buy them as people want them.
It usually takes quite some time between ordering them and Amazon actually delivering them to Curse to restock. You wouldn't want to wait for every order until they accumulated enough (like someone would want to send *every* single order to Amazon, right) and then wait until Amazon sends them over.
Especially now that they finally automated the sending process and you get them instantly, as long as they are in stock, anyway!
Anyhow, the money doesn't vanish, just patience, and someone should let Kaelten know, except i think he is out of town for a few days.
"extras" .. well, its not like they stay in the store and no-one uses them. :p
