How do invert the panels like that to make them mirror one another? Is that 4 panels or 2 aligned? Trying to do the same thing and can't figure it out. I am using the gradient, horzontal options. I really like my panel..but I want to flip the second panel (like reverse the gradient) I guess and I don't see the option anywhere.
That is 4 panels, Purity. To flip the gradient, you need to turn the transparency down and up on the opposite sides (background and gradient, maybe, forget what they're called).
To make the gradient go from right to left (color --> transparent) then set the Background Color transparency higher (I prefer anywhere from 75-100%) and the Background Gradient Color to 0%. From Left to Right (transparent <-- color) then you set the Background Gradient Color transparency to the higher value and the Background Color transparency to the lower value.
One thing I've noticed though is that the gradient doesn't fill evenly, i.e. it isn't an even sequence of colors from color A to Color B. So, assuming you're going from color to transparent, you want to make all COLORS the same in the color picker for Background/Background Gradient and just adjust the transparency value.
Now I'm finding a way to let a few panels show only when I'm in a party, but I cant figure it out tbh.
Set the Parent of the Panel you want to show only in party to your Party1 Frame in Pitbull (use the macro ee posted on the wiki page for eePanels to find out the frame name) then just set the frame up from there.
BTW - I'm totally ninja'ing that gradient layout for my minimap =P
I wish people would start to do some unique layouts with eePanels and upload them. Instead everyone is merging from the "cockpit" UI's to the little box of info in the middle-bottom because it's trendy, which kills creativity.
oh and yes, Rubens texture is bitchin'!
I disagree, I don't think it's trendy, I think it's utilizing. It's an important part in minimalism, to me anyways. I don't like things docked to the bottom, top, or sides, because that makes me feel like I'm looking through something. Idk, it's hard to explain, I like my important info close to my character but not obstructing my view.
