I'm using Xparky, attached to the bottom of my screen, and very thin so that it's not really noticable unless I'm looking at it. The "latest" version has been nonfunctional for quite a while, as I think Wobin is rewriting it several times over, but I'm using an older version and it works great. I think I'm using r63066:
It's MinimapButtonBag, I use it to clean up my minimap, I guess it isn't working :P
On a more serious note I've been wanting to remove that icon or find another addon to remove the minimapbuttons for a while, I'll keep looking (suggestions maybe?).

Your tooltip needs to move down a little to align with the chat frame and action bar.
Depending on what the tooltip is showing, it likes to move about a bit, I do have it anchored a bit lower. Don't know if you can choose the "growth" of the tooltip in Cowtip, will check it.

I use NefTracking (wowinterface.com) for tracking; it lets me right-click the minimap to access the tracking menu.
I must try this, thanks for the tip.

If you really want to see FPS, hit CTRL-R to bring up the default FPS display
I didn't know about CTRL-R, you learn something new everyday :)
I do have some performance issues though, I'm just trying different drivers for my graphic card since I only get like 22-25 fps in Outlands :/

As for information overload...
A lot needs fixing, I'll get right on it :P
What would be the best way to show the deficit health, in red maybe (I think that is the default option for the party frames)? Since I'm going to remove my name and add my mana instead what would the best way to show what is health and what is mana (different colours maybe?)
Thanks again for your help, I really appreciate it :)
Wobin has said to use the version from WoWInterface - not sure if it's the same as what you linked...
Looks like it's basically the same version; the only changes between that and the one I linked were some translation additions/updates. I didn't know it was on WoWI though. :P

How many addons do you actually have that include minimap buttons with no option to hide them?

It's likely that the main limiting factor on your FPS is your CPU, not your GPU. WoW's graphics engine is fairly old, and doesn't need a high-end video card.

For your bright, class-colored bars, I'd suggest making the current value (if you want to show it) a light gray, and leave the deficit value white, so it's brighter. Making it red would actually make it harder to see, especially on a paladin (pink). Personally, I use white for the deficit, and a toned-down class color for the current value: if the class color is r, g, b, I set the current value to r / 2 + .5, g / 2 + .5, b / 2 + .5. This results in a color that's somewhere between the class color and white.

I'd think the fact that the numbers are on opposite ends of the frame should be indication enough of what's what. On my frames, I have the health text slightly larger than the power text as well. If you want to color the power text, an approach similar to the above, but using the power color instead, results in a nice light color. (Note that you'll need to play with the mana color a little more, since it's so much darker than every other power color.)
I've been doing a lot of work recently on my UI and I've moved onto using oUF for the unit frames its a bit hardcore but the results are well worth it I think.
The top picture doesn't have range checking enabled just to help show what the raid and party frames look like and ofc I wouldn't intead to show party frame whilst in a raid but its just there for testing.
Big up thanks to Lyn and P3lim for there great work as my UI of obviously massively inspired by there creativity and skill. Thanks both!
ClosetGnome icon is icky. Too much spacing between your form (stance/class) buttons and buff icons. Alignment everywhere is inconsistent (especially with regards to how far things are away from the edges of the screen). Don't make me get out the red lines again! :P
I really like your raid frames. You're making me consider dropping Grid for those. As a mage I'm realizing I don't need GridStatusRaidDebuff/GridStatusCooldown really, except on Kalecgos, I guess.

Very good phanx pointing out the inconsistances as always :p
Yeah its a fair point of course not really that bothered personnaly speaking but the raid and party frames etc are not sitting where they are going to sit in the "real world" just messing about at the moment. Buffs could be tighter and yeah closet gnome I'm hardly even using atm so hald tempted to just bin it we'll see.

Glad you like them I did start using oufgrid and just cut 90% of the code out then stuck what remained into p3lim ouf layout crossed my fingers and hoped for the best an hour later the damn thing finally did what I asked ... my coding skills are junor to say the least ... if it can't be copy and pasted it cant be done! :)
Phanx...just out of curiosity, are you in Graphic Design or Desktop Publishing of any kind? You always seem to have the steadfast (and stubborn) dedication of either of those two fields of work :)
Modeled on the Blizz latency bar code, totally untested, replace <FONTSTRING> with a reference to your font string.
And then a few lines lower
Avant Garde.

No, and my current job bears no relation to either. :P
NOOOOOOO!!!!!! Not the cute little seals! Look at his eyes - look at them!!!
You make me cry.
Not too many seals to club in San Fransisco. :P
