First, your font is refreshingly readable, and kudos on using the same one everywhere! (Also, what is it?) More kudos on using the same statusbar texture everywhere. I almost like your UI! :P
Now on to things I don't like: your buff buttons' border doesn't match your action buttons' border, and your totem buttons are missing borders altogether (if they're Numen, check out Poppins, which has ButtonFacade support). And the "big black box" effect just doesn't do it for me, especially with so much unused blank space, and the apparently randomly placed minimap (whose border doesn't match either). Your ToT frame seems rather haphazardly placed too. Finally, why do you need a cast bar on your target frame and a standalone target cast bar?
The font is Swiss 721 Medium. Thanks for the tip on poppins. As for the borders, my SBF does not accept the BF skins as well as the other addons but I ironed the issue out somewhat. I am not sure where to actually place the minimap. I hate it being in the corners as it is distracting and on top of that I almost never use it. I have the "black box" feel precisely because there is a lot of screen space not being used. Personally, I am not a fan of an entirely open and sparse UI.
Here's my UI - been fiddling with it for a while now.
OOC, No Target:

The main addons seen are Pitbull, Grid, Quartz, Cooling, Buffalo, Bartender4, SCT and AutoBar. My goal was to only show what I needed, leaving as much room as possible. Unit frames fade to various levels depending on combat, target/no target, and whether I'm at full health/mana. I have all of my main abilities keybound and memorized so I don't need them shown on bars, but I use Cooling (wonderful addon) to display their cooldowns since I can't look at the buttons. The one bar I do have shown at the bottom, as well as AutoBar, fade in and out on mouseover. My buffs are also located on a hidden mouseover bar (not shown) in the bottom right corner.
That may be true for the arrangement of elements, but it's not a matter of preference to say that your myriad of statusbar textures don't match.
Actually, you are wrong. I am using the same status bar texture for all my bars. I am using the DsmB5 texture. The bad quality screenshot may be effecting what you see.

Umm... No you're not. In addition to that texture, I see Banto on your oRA2 MT frame, Blizzard on Omen, Flat(?) on RaidCooldowns, and possibly (can't tell cause of the color/alpha) something else on EBB.

Acctually you are using minumum 3 different textures. (Think its 4 or 5 thou)
1 on playerframes
1 on Omen
1 on raid cooldowns, not sure if the texture on buffs is the same as raid cooldowns.
1 on oRA (might be the same as playerframes, but dun look like it to me)

Actually, you are wrong. Perhaps before you decide to post something insulting, you should make sure you have some ground to stand on. Things that don't match stick out to me like a fat man on a supermodel runway. Although if all of those statusbar textures look the same to you, it's possible that you might mistake that fat man for Kate Moss. :P

Are those BigWigs timers below your player frame? If not, what are they?
To get the castbar outline effect do you simply make your cast bar slightly larger than the unit frame and put it behind the frame while using a normal texture with texts set to be "outside of frame"? I tried Duke's space saving cast bar idea with an outline bar texture but did not like the look.
P.S. Looks like a pretty dangerous time to screencap! XD
No, below my playerframe you can see omen, at this moment it shows the aoe mode. Below my little gnome and above the player- and targetframe it shows the important bigwigs bars (<10 sek until "it" happens), on the right side fortewarlock spelltimer.
Yes, that's the way i build the castbar. It is a little bit bigger than the frame it is behind and text on the outside. But maybe i'll change it back to the normal mode, sometimes it's very hard to see the castbar, especially infight :(
here's a pic where you can see my castbar and the target castbar.
.m2 models (dynamic effect of a dissipating fog) on unitfames, top/bottom panels. But you dont look it on static pic ;( http://i34.tinypic.com/2lsv40.jpg

May I ask what the status bar texture is on your unitframes? It's full of awesome.
Too many statusbar textures. Too little alignment between UI elements.
To each their own. What works for me my not be optimal for you =)

ROFL!!!
Scary...
Sure, it's called "Duke K". I would guess it's from one of duke's releases but i truely can't remember ;)
