i like your raid frames
and i dont see any SBF font
@ lunaar
you can find the name of the font inside the "what font are you using" thread (also linked 1-2 pages before in this thread) and google it. i had it inside one xp visual style i used years ago.
If you can make it, that it's all lowercase (even if it's update etc pp) and cut off at a specific line.. I'll build you a 'my hero' statue or so x) haha
In evl_NamePlates.lua you'll see where this goes.
nameTextRegion:ClearAllPoints()
nameTextRegion:SetPoint("LEFT", healthBar, "LEFT", 2, 0)
nameTextRegion:SetFont(NAMEPLATE_FONT, 9)
local name = nameTextRegion:GetText()
name = string.sub(name, 0, 5) -- set the 5 to the how manieth symbol you want it cut off. If you want the ... see the SetText
name = string.lower(name) -- puts it in lowercase
nameTextRegion:SetText(name) -- change (name) to (name.."...") if you want those three dots.
but lowercase resets after "reload" or when new people/mobs are coming in range
Well, the nameplates appear as they do in nilla wow, and then pop up as they should. I don't know why that is, but it always irked me, so I never used an addon to change the nameplates, I just change the textures.
Hmmm Phanx I see you dont like when someone is using more than one font :) Well, sometimes is not bad. For example using one font for chat for easy read, another font (usually small one or with letters close to each other) for unitframes to make all long names visible, and 3rd font for maybe scrolling combat text just cause you like some funky shit for crits or whatever.
I'm not always opposed to it. If it's obviously intentional, such as using a pixel font on unitframes and timer bars, with a "normal" font for chat, it's not an issue. However, when it looks like someone just left whatever the default fonts in all of his/her addons were, or is using half a dozen fonts of the same style (such as 3 sans-serif fonts) with similar widths, it looks cluttered and disjointed, making the interface look like a random assembling of unrelated bits rather than a cohesive whole. I like interfaces that look intentional, not coincidental.
why are you laughing? :P
for unitframes, you can put it a little up or left/right (like I have) so there should be no problem with debuffs anymore (and above your actionbars) - when i'm back home from work (of work? english sometimes bad :P) I can try some "concepts" if you want... xD
I'm actually considering moving back to a Player | ToT | Target setup, but I like symmetry in my UI, so I'd be lost for the pet classes :P (Though, I don't play rogues, hunters or locks - no offense, just have 2 chars lined up to get to 70, that's enough).
Not sure if this is the place to ask this, but does anyone have a good setup for a shadow priest at 1280 x 1024 resolution. an addon list would be nice as well.
pet | classtimer | tot
playercast target cast
player | control freak | target
debuffs debuffs
party1 party2
party3 party4
And then grid floating around somehow lol My issue with your setup there Phanx, is that my target takes 3 or 4 lines of debuffs and I like keeping them beneath it. All that said, I think I need to come up with a set position for Grid lol.

Working on one :) Having issues with finding a good Dot tracker (for multiple, non-focussed/targeted mobs)
I figured I should show mine ATM, unlike you I don't care about dots on non-target mobs, ill just tab over to check, because that many bars would clutter up my screen.
cause i like little letters... x)

Swiss 721 Light Italic BT? Swiss 721 Heavy BT? There are so many. Which one do you use?
I also already trying to save, but I never succeeded, they will not appear if I did not rate a Ora2 example, how do you please?
(Sry for my english )

@ nidraj
i use ora2, but stripped down EVERYTHING except the MT frames.
if you DONT use ora2, someone must set blizzard mt frames.
