You both would be correct, it definitely is baud manifest... and I'm loving it. No, it doesn't normally reside on my screen... I'm a huge advocate of screens not being cluttered, once the bag is gone the screen is actually pretty good for how I need it. I'm sure there's always improvement.
The only thing that sucks is bouncing between characters. That's a screenie of my warlock. For him, I have the target's target on top, and the pet bar w/ controls on the bottom. Typically, on my shadow priest I have the target's target on the bottom in between my unit frame and my target's.... Unfortunately for some reason I can't get Pitbull to keep those settings per character.
How do I make UI that is clean and simple and doesn't suck donkey balls? I use 1280x1024 and no body makes anything worthwhile for that resolution.
Trial, error, and many scrapped UIs that sucked donkey balls. Hehe, all you can do is flip through the thread and borrow some ideas from people. You're right that there aren't a lot of compilations out there for 1280x1024, but you can make it work. I made several of my own UIs in that resolution that I still like better than anything I've done on my new widescreen. :P
I tried so many times, can never figure out how to use any of the good mods. Bleh...
Just start tinkering with one mod at a time. Some mods are pretty easy to figure out, others take a while. Download UI packs you like and swipe settings out of them. Take em apart to see how the are built (some mods like Pitbull that use DogTag strings are great to dismantle to see how they are put together). This is how I started. I would dismantle various Discord UIs, get them ingame and then start picking them apart. I did the same thing with Pitbull setups (Caith's others) until I figured how DogTag works. If you don't like your UI, then wipe out your WTF folder and start over.
