Feel free to ask any questions, give any advice, or ask for any advice. I'm more than happy to help and eagerly await your opinions.
Maybe try a two tone approach instead of gray for everything (a little color adds contrast and makes things pop),
or perhaps ditch the heavy boxes on a few things like the tooltip or the Fubar.
And if you are going with bitmap fonts make sure you use the fonts native size or a even multiple of it, otherwise you just a get a stretched out blurry mess. Oftentimes the native size may seem to small so search for a good font that is readable at its native size.
Yeah I guess your right about the minimap, the coords arent really needed at all, I'll remove them, and probably the SLTracking thingy too.
The addon for the portraits is ZuxanaModelCitizen.
Thanks for the feedback, appritiate it!
the tracking button, if you can, put to the left of the minimap like with your atlas button, will be neater and you don't need the text to tell you what you are tracking. Also you shouldn't really need the text telling you your location unless you're often unaware of where you are :P
Thanks, Kazama, Quokka. I choose an all grey theme for it so it'd be gentler on the eyes when viewing for extended periods of time. I chose the font just because it looks damn nice, but yeah there has been some distortion when the font size is turned up. I'll look into different fonts.
Also, how do you mean 'heavy boxes'? I was trying to keep a uniform look, and not having a background on the Fubar makes it look funky in comparison to the rest of the UI.
I'll play around with some two-tone setups to see how that makes the color look.
Again, thanks for the critiques and keep 'em coming :)
