StatusColour by Slakah does that :) http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/fileinfo.php?id=7837
Really nice UI, Episky and Indie.
Murloc's instead of the blizz eagles could look good :P
Glowsticky, Maybe hide all your minimap buttons! or use Roth minimap icon borders atleast.
1. Use simpleMinimap, with any of the square skins, and uncheck "show border".
2. The tracking icon in than screenshot looks like TrackingFu (or whatever it's called) on a transparent undocked FuBar. Unfortunately TrackingFu doesn't work with the new tracking system, or at least it didn't when I tried it a month or so ago. You can use Visor2 or any other frame moving addon to move the default tracking icon, although you'd probably need custom Lua to make it square. You could also use ElkBuffBars, and make a bar group just for tracking, hide the statusbar, and put it over the minimap like that.
3. Mail and timestamp look like MailFu and MiniClockFu on another transparent undocked FuBar.
Thanks for the ideas! I'll go spend some time playing around using your suggestions. :) The ElkBuffBars one is pretty ingenious, in my opinion. I'd have never thought of that.
For the life of me I have no idea what to do with the minimap. Also, I wasn't exactly sure what buff mod to get to make it look all pretty. Any criticism is appreciated; this is my first stab at a multi-functional graphical UI; most mods I use don't do anything to the default UI's look.
Hide your minimap icons. From with in their right-click menus, go to the fubar options and check "Hide". Also, hide the Addon Preferences button. You can then config all of your mods through Addon Preferences (type /rock to open).
I would truncate your target's name text. Set name text to custom and add the Trunc() modifier to the tag. That way your class text won't be cut off as much.
As for buff displays, if you want default icon style buffs that will get skinned with cyCircled, use Buffalo. If you want bar style buffs, use ElkBuffBars.
Changed up almost everything from previous shot. I'm trying to get it as minimalist as possible without removing my actionbar. Stuff you see: eepanels2, parrot, pitbull, simpleminimap, satrina buffbars; stuff you don't: baggins, quartz.
I've run into a few problems/issues I was hoping someone might help me to resolve:
Whenever I logout, the cowtip location is reset; I'm trying to get it right above my actionbar, and was wondering if anyone could help me with that; The options within cowtip are weird for some reason, because whenever I try to move the tooltip, the defined orange mover-box never places the tooltip along an edge or inside the box itself; in other words, I was hoping there'd be some way to manually move the box to attach to the UIParent so it will be centered
My goal is minimalism; I don't like a lot on my screen. I have a decent sized widescreen monitor, so the more open space I have, the better.
Note: is there any way to get the UI settings for one character to copy over exactly the same to another character? The built in profile managers for the individual addons won't work, and for some reason copy+pasting the WTF character folders isn't either.
Edit: Most problems fixed. Still don't know about the cowtip thing.
Today I added the default actionbar graphics + xp bar to idActionbar. This does not yet work with stances, the xp bar will fail at 70 and no rep bar yet.
Just thought I'd share.
Really cool. However, I need paging (like holding shift down etc) in my actionbar - else I have too few buttons. Any chance you might add that in the future?
Hm, just downloaded the one from WoWI but it doesn't have the new graphics, am I looking the wrong place?

Very nice. Minimal with great division and doesn't look stupid when you don't have a target selected. Think i'll be stealing a lot of the ideas from here for my own UI.
It feels a wee bit unbalanced though having the chat on the left as well as the raid frames with nothing on the right. Not sure what you'd put there though, maybe meters (dmg/heal, threat) and/or eavesdrop.
I think ill use the lions if any :)

I think you have less padding between your target portrait/frame than your player portrait/frame
set the framestrata of the eepanel behind your minimap lower, seems like its over the actual map making it alot darker.

Though my screen isn't large enough, I'm trying to get my UI looking somewhat like this

Not shown: Grid goes above the target frame. Omen is the the right of the totems, not that I really need it.

Old idea, but i like it tho...
Version pictured isn't available yet afaik.

(This post was clearly a scheme to show off my new signature ↓.)
'Cause 40 debuffs right of the frame would look really ... ugly, I think.
And hooray, Maneki =)
