I really like the look of Tiany's UI. I tried to set up something similar last night but had a little trouble. I have tried using the border images in Minimap and Tooltip folders inside the Interface folder but then my ArkInventory borders get changed, so im trying to do everything with eePanels2. Is that a customized background you are using for the top and bottom black strips with a white border, or are they standard panels with a certain border? Same question for the minimap.
I created three panels with the third one being for the minimap. When I moved it over the bottom bar the minimap panel went behind the bottom bar panel which looked like crap.
Cold - I see you have small yellow x's in between each of your stats from SL Timex. I couldnt find that feature last night, how did you do it?
I've never understood the minimalist trend with a lot of UIs theses days. The beauty of WoW is that there is a tremendous ammount of information available to the player and a good UI balances both the view of the world and the incoming information, sliding to one side or another depending on the player's role. A 25 man raid leader needs different information than say a level 63 solo player.
Cold does it well, a perfect 5 man setup. There is nothing cluttered about his UI.
yeah i know, im not really liking it that way, specially the chatframes.
but isn't "it's WAY too cluttered" a bit of exageration? i mean i have something like ~2/3 of my screen empty lol :P
I think it's the Combat log that does it... Dock that behind your other chat frame, and move your aspects to the bottom right corner. Maybe make your pet frame/pet bar smaller, too. (or try them where the combat log is?)
