There is no "basic" version of WindowBlinds. There's only a (fully functional, iirc) trial version that expires after 30(?) days. The WB site is down atm, but here's the link: http://www.windowblinds.net/
OS: Windows XP, SP2
Theme: "Eminence" using the "CSX" subsyle, styled with Windowblinds 5
Browser: Firefox, fairly heavily customized
Dock: Rocket Dock with icons downloaded from KDE-Look.org
I have been using this same basic setup for a while now and is likely the last major Desktop I will use until I switch to Linux (likely when it's time to reinstall Windows XP)
Open "This computer" and in the left hand top corner left click and hold while you drag the icon onto your desktop.
That just gives me the icon for My Computer >.< I meant the actual bar. I'd love to have that, but then with autohide >.<
Ok, I have got to ask, most people seem to use Foobar, I liked it, but I faced one massive issue. I use the multimedia keys on my logi keyboard, and I've tried all "fixes" on the foobar forum, none work. The closest I've come to it, is that it does work partially, but only when the foobar window is in focus.

Simply Delicious!! Thank you for introducing me to Rocket Dock!!

Correct me if I am wrong.. but there is a checkbox for "global keybinding", right? In my (0.9.4 or so) it is one.. so I can use keybindings for foobar in fullview wow.

HA, thanks Lyn.
I found this little gem!
Interesting SetPoint hacking
I've been using a Logitech keyboard with multimedia keys successfully for a while now, by not having SetPoint installed, but recently got myself a Logitech mouse too. Now I need to have SetPoint running, and it grabs hold of control of the keyboard too, ruining all the multimedia keys which used to work just fine.
I've been hacking about with SetPoint for some time, and come across the following. If you close SetPoint, then open your settings file in \Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Logitech\SetPoint\user.xml, you should find a Device element with the DisplayName of your keyboard, and Class="KeyboardDevice". In it, there are a bunch of Button elements, with nice descriptive Names. Find the buttons you want to fix, and for each one, look inside the Trigger element for a Param element which has an attribute Silent="0". Change that to Silent="1". Once you've done that to all the media buttons you want to fix, save the file, and start SetPoint again. Those buttons with Silent="0" you can still set the behaviour for in SetPoint (which is handy for those buttons which don't have a standard behaviour), and those buttons with Silent="1" behave as if SetPoint was not running. Result!
Hope this is useful to others too,
Alex
And it does work with the normal multimedia keys, even when it's minimized (provided you set it to global hotkey)

How do you get your dock and windows borders to show up after capturing the screen, my screen capture software doesn't show the dock for some reason, and cuts off the borders on my windows??? Any idea??

I just use Shift-Print Screen, open up Paint (the only time I ever do), hit Control V to paste the image from the Clipboard and save as a jpeg. I have been using this method for a long time now as it is built into Windows.

Just use the default printscreen in windows, then you open paint or any other image creating program and click paste (ctrl+v)
