As for the rest of the files; right-click a file, select TortoiseSVN. In the next menu, select Properties. Click the "New" button in the dialog box that appears. From the selection menu at the upper right, select "snv:eol-style" as the Property name. In the "Property value" box, type the word "native" (no quotations).
I tried doing what was suggested here but have had no luck as my version either doesn't contain the ability to just click TortoiseSVN or I didn't install it correctly. The only options I get are from a pop up menu and they are:
I cannot for the life of me find how to set the eol-style of my files anywhere within these four options. This is my first addon so I'm kinda newbish at this. Thanks for the help.
Okay, first there is no Properties menu in the TortoiseSvn menu that is brought up when I right click a file. There is ONLY and I repeat ONLY this menu:
Like I said before this is inside the TortoiseSVN menu that is within the file menu when the file is right clicked. Now if the properties I am supposed to be clicking on are the ones of the file itself there is nowhere in there to add or to make the file's eol-style. And like I have read time and time again I doubt this as every message tells you to right click on the file and then click or choose TortoiseSVN and then click Properties. as you can see from above there is no Properties menu within MY particular menu.
So if I'm supposed to click settings then tell me to click settings. And if there is a flame topic or a rant topic on the boards anywhere then please point me in that direction so I can vent some of my feelings.
If it told me everything I needed to know about getting started I wouldn't be in this forum asking for help in the first place.
I am sorry about jumping ahead. Please, forgive me. I will be sure to read everything you post up for now on. That was a tremendous help. I am going to try to download the files now and see if I can get past that particular error. Again thanks for your help.
Everything downloaded fine with no problems. The files are even up on the WoWace site right now. They are version r2 and it is still experimental. Again thanks for everything Xinhuan. I am sorry for jumping like I did.
