Other than that I have possibly have to update from 3.0.1 -> 3.0.8/3.1 about 3 times and counting, that could be the cause of the corrupted files? I often had a few ones in Dalaran, seemed to be 2-3 building "parts" being no bigger than 2-5mb, 2 in Icecrown and 3 in Zul'drak.
These doodads as I understand are just random objects and because of this that I have to download 1.5gb+ worth of files because the repair utility suck?
The other thing that hit me was and seems to be 90% all causes is for example: [2] err=0 text=SFileReadFile - WORLD\EXPANSION02\DOODADS\ZULDRAK\TROLLRUINS\ZULDRAK_DECORATION_02.blp - Data\patch.MPQ
[1] err=0 text=ReadSectors/DecompressData failed
[0] err=0 text=ReadSectors/DecompressData failed
which means that the client fails to decompress the obviously compressed textures/models.
I do not mind downloading as it only takes about 10-20min to d/l, but I'd rather view this funny graphical bug that others seems to have posted on forum boards then having to re-download LK because Arthas forgot his cookies in the oven.
I'm also curious of these sudden WoW crashes as well, could this be the cause of Nvidia drivers or Win7? I've had no problems till 3.0.2/3.0.3 were they introduced their shadow rendering engine whatever it was. The client often dies at the loading screen. This happens at least 2-3 of those days I play a couple of hours. I've checked hardware and such, no errors at my side, so who shall I blame?
While I'm sure many people here sympathize with you, you seem to already know the steps to correct this issue. Obviously, it is difficult for us to help you troubleshoot an issue on a beta version of an operating system most of us are not running, and with beta versions of video drivers most of us are not using.
Was there some other question you had?
