I downloaded a few diffrent SVN clients and what not and got them installed but I keep getting a error. I belive its Error: 400 (bad request svn.wowace.com) or something close to that.
Did I enter a address wrong? the SVN clients and reach the ripository and even scan it for file names and what not all the way down but whenever I try to tell it to check the file(s) out I get that error.
SmartSVN lets you set it as /root the browse your way through the trunk/branches to the directories you want. So that is what I have set to /root. However lately I have been using the tortise one and just using the browser svn thing to find where its and and type it in by hand.
I'm keeping hearing rumors about a possibility to close SVN access by non-developers.
I think it's a very bad idea since the more we are (users/testers) the fast we get bugs and tune the versions for the realease.
In the past months I worked a lot to spread out Ace add ons and the philosophy behind them. Now nicks like otravi (Haste), Cladhaire, Tekkub start to show on the Interface Forums of WoW both in Europe and US and I observed the grow of topics and add ons with many developers coming here to read and learn about WoWace community.
I'm therefore requesting that registered users could mantain access to the trunk section at least (maybe close out branch if you really have to).
Of course if we can help about the cost of bandwidth, some of us can sure help.
