There are some frames I'd like to hide when I'm not using them - Grid for example.

Are there any mods that can toggle frames on keybind?

Dash doesn't help because it's mainly for OOC addons, but I LOVE it's feature to add the frame your mouse is hovering over to the dashboard.

OnScreen is out of the question because the times I want to toggle don't necessarily depend on being in or out of combat.

Any help would be appreciated.

EDIT: Can eePanels2 do this? I've never used it but I seem to remember people saying they could hide/show panels with keybinds.

The problem with adding something like Grid to a "toggle layer" is that secure frames cannot be arbitrarily hidden/shown while you're in combat. Action buttons can be hidden/shown on specific conditions while in combat (like "target exists" or "stance/form changed"), but I don't believe that unit frames work that way (insert small possibility of me being mistaken here), so if you added Grid to your toggle layer, you wouldn't be able to hide/show it while in combat.

Changing it during combat isn't what I'm looking for.

I'd like to toggle it off when I'm grouped with friends who aren't even in my zone so I don't have to completely disable Grid just to get the boxes off my screen.

I know, I use that feature for when I'm healing.

I am talking about hiding Grid completely when I am grouped with friends just to chat. For instance if I'm off farming in Nagrand and they are all the way in Elwynn Forest or something.

Well, if all you want is to make Grid invisible, you could just switch to the built-in "None" layout...

you may need to add some of the frames you want but it let you toggle frames on bindings
