Even I'm slightly confused at this, guess that's a bad sign D:
So let's try to clear this up: trunk: Current version which is actively developed on. The goal of the version is to be a general implementation of a unit frame framework, which allows the user to use layouts without having to take the performance hit. branches: Previous major revision of oUF (it's also the version evl forked). You can compare it to pitbull when it comes to how it's built up. This was also how oUF3 was intended to be built up (for those who remember the talk about that back in the old days). This revision was however dropped due to the extensive overhead from it's modules.
I do all my development in the trunk, and branches is just a easily accessible history.

Oops.. I did pull a different oUF from someone's branches ... lol
I use a few (haste <3), like Fane. I usually try them out then see if they are convenient for me to use. Usually they have next to nothing options within the game, and any changes have to be through the lua. I'm a complete noob with that so it depends on how much I have to change. I change my UI's a lot so this makes an impact for me =P
My computer can handle a lot of addons (I go 25 or so when soloing, up to 60 in a full raid), so I go a little bit more for ease of use, rather than be completely nutty about keeping the memory below 20. Addons with horrible memory usage or memory leaks get tossed out of course.

Well, my pc can handle a lot more than 20, I started using custom UIs a long time ago, and one of my first was with all bells an whistles from Titan :P I think I used around 40MB, when wow is running I have about 400MB to spare on my pc's memory, but it's a fun quest to get below 20, seeing as it's quite a challenge at times. It also helps you to get rid of addons that you use for the sake of having.
For me it posed quite a challenge leaving CowTip, Fubar, Cartographer and Pitbull. Mendeleev I loved, with KCItems, but for more room to get below 20MB they too had to go. Quartz, very versatile, had to be replaced by eCastingBar. (ClassTimer and CorkFu I still painfully miss though)
Oh and one more thing, certain addons if installed with embedded pull 23 libs, with disembedding pull 31 libs? Why is that? I mean, disembedded pulls the entire Babble and Special Events, while embedded only supplies a few. Can it not be done to use X-Embeds: Babble-Zone instead of Babble-2.2 eg?
I'm on about ~23-25 Meg at the moment.
and i'm running quite a lot.
If you can make a UI that contains all of the following functions AND stays < 35 mb in raid (i.e. BT, Hyjal, et al) I'd pay big money for your list
Unit Frames (focus, target, player, pet)
Raid Frames
Buff Management
ORA2
BigWiggs (or DBM)
ANY form of damage meters (I use Assesment which is awesome but gets fat quick)
ANY form combat log enhancement
ANY form of scrolling combat text
Now accomplish that and have the thing not look like it was a high school shop class project and your amazing. I spend more time on my UI then I do raiding or PVPing and I cant seem to ever get back to the days of 1+ years ago where I thought 20 mb was to much. Some days I get so frustrated with it all I just load the basic UI and play ugly. As a side note the base UI so outperforms addons it makes me sadface.

It reads Option House on top, so that's most likely the name ;)
try oUF. Its incredibly low memory usage(less than 50kb). The current version is pretty basic, but the upcoming one looks really nice.
how / where are you seeing what the upcoming one looks like?
Also need more info about upcoming version!
Yep yep yep. On all accounts, though the new version will require new layouts I believe. I tried it, with your layout and had no visuals.
Haste gcode trunk -> oUF + Example Layout (or Industrials gcode trunk for his layout)
Haste gcode branches -> oUF newer version I believe.
So let's try to clear this up:

Might sit down and do another one.
I would wait ~2 weeks with that.
searched for that on a couple of wow sistes and got nothing, so tought it must be named something else :P
Now, thanks, and lets try again :)
I posted at the same time as Moon, so my post was right after hers. In it, I told you it was at WoWInterface. (Eprac just gave you a link.)

Unit Frames (focus, target, player, pet) = oUF
Raid Frames = Grid or PerfectRaid
Buff Management = raid frames + actionbutton
ORA2 + DBM
damage meters = violation
combat log enhancement = simple combat log
scrolling combat text = MikScrollingCombatText
