Usaully a "attempt to call ___________ (a nil value)" means something has not been defined . Usaully this indicates either a library that hasn't been installed or a lazy author who forgot to change some variables around.
What I would do would be to update from the latest version then do a search of the code for all occurences of "updateCharacter" or functions named similar to it.
i have removed all saved files and reinstalled and i get the same thing

Curse PremiumI've already fixed the "error", though, caused by the user not updating his version of haste's oGlow addon.
Dunce here was so clever, he posted this both in a new thread and as a post in the ClosetGnome thread, and I only replied in the CG thread so far.
