I just set up this site called WoW Mod Search (original, I know) which uses Google's custom search engine thing. It basically allows you to search for mods across the 4 major mod sites (WoWAce, Curse, WoW Interface and WoWUI) at the same time, and it works really well. And of course, it's super duper fast.
And I've just added search plugins for Firefox and IE7, so you can use it from within your browser.
That is just dandy, but if I search for eg "wowinterface tomtom" in my firefox address bar I get the same results.
I don't see how people who already know what they are looking for could find anymore value in going through that search engine then normal google or just the sites themselves.
Also, people who don't know exactly what they are looking for also don't have any .. reasons..
So basically, I can either give you money or give the resource sites money....and you basically don't do anything useful, when we can just do what indy said.
Hard choice....let me think about that for a minute........
Nice and hostile, just how I like it. Well sure, you can either check each site individually or use this instead. I'm not doing this for money, it was suggested to me and I thought I'd go ahead and do it, so since it's there I might as well make people aware of that fact that it's there to use. And you are clicking through to the resource site, hence giving them money. In fact, you even get to choose which site you want to 'give' the money to, as a bonus.
