Is anyone getting severe lag with the new patch? I'm finding that I'm getting 2-3 FPS during raids now, which makes it very difficult to heal. =/ Just wondering if it's isolated to me or if it's something else (ie: mod).
I'm not seeing fps as bad as first poster but using GForce 8800 even though with my connection I usually run 600-1000ms latency I had 34 to 48 fps, I have noticed since patch I am now running 23-25 fps most of the time. Using PerformanceFu it shows I am using at max peak w/Auctioneer eabled using 76MB addon memory, I have 4GB memory and 640MB Video memory.
I always know there are certain fights I'll lag on (Doom Lord Kazzak), but now fights where I didn't lag (Fathom Lord, Tidewalker, etc) I lag to where I'm useless. :(
As for CPU profiling, no I haven't played around with that, and I haven't tried without add-ons and doubt I could narrow it down to one specific.
My memory usage isn't to bad, around 40-50 megs.
I get a lot of lag when players log in/log out, are moved groups in the raid, etc... I'm using oRA2 with Sraidframes.
Did you happen to install the new Nvidia drivers recently? They brought my FPS on my 8800 GTS down from 60-80 to 20-30. Going back to the previous drivers I had fixed the issue. May or may not be relevant for you.
maybe he's talking bout lag as for game swapping. this could caused by no more auto GC by game systems :|
performanceFU doesn't trigger a proper GC anymore due to dunno-what :/
since patch i got tons of "Error #132". Browsing forums shows that im not alone and its Blizz who fucked up the game, the most common "fix" is to run game in windowed mode :(
Also im noticed my FPS is now lower by alot, prepatch i had 60-70, now 20-25.
wtf is this shit i have no clue cause i havent played with any of my hardware (drivers etc...)

I have not changed my Drivers since before the patch, and the drivers are universal, my other machine which has 7600 in it was also running around 40-50 fps and has dropped to 20-25. It has something to do with changes to the UI in the 2.1 patch, I'm sure that Blizz will get it right somewhere around 2.1.0.6 as usual.
You might want to try the 160.03 drivers at guru3d.com, they're made for the professional quatro cards, but will work with any of the geforces after like 6200, I found a pretty remarkable increase in fps using it.
The funny thing is I only notice the lag when in raids... SSC, Doomwalker, etc... 5 man groups are ok.
I get lag spikes when people disconnect or reconnect, or groups are moved when in a raid as well... similar problem I had with CT Raid a long time ago. =/

Sorry for being clueless but where can I find this setting? If it is a setting.. :o

No it's not, it's an expression for anything slowing down.
