KCI is well coded too. So as I understand KCI uses more memory, but it stores all items in saved variables so you can view any at any time. Ludwig is more memory-friendly, but it resets its data and you have to recollect all the links again.
Am starting to think the same.
When a new Auctioneer version comes out, will switch back to it.
No really substitute exists at the time :(
There's an alpha development version at www.auctioneeraddon.com. It's an alpha, so backup your saved variables before using it. The first thing it will do is change the format of it's saved variables, so there's no going back if you don't have a backup.
