Good for rocking out to. I've been listening to my Nightwish albums whilst grinding with my scrapper in City of Heroes.
It's fun envisioning the thought of a gigantic, medieval-themed robot with a broadsword, running past, swinging his sword merrily in a Monty Pythonesque way and singing Opera in a ludicrously high-pitched voice. Which I actually do RL since my voice is also British and also ludicrously high-pitched (and sometimes nasal to boot).
I hope not, I don't rap. Opera is a far cry from rap.
Gilbert and Sullivan? That's more like it! Gods, my music tastes are weird. I can even tolerate folk, most Japanese music and just about any weirdness anyone can throw at me ... well, except for rap. Unless it's really bad Japanese rap, then it's funny.
I'm actually a fan of accoustics and very alien music-stylings mostly and this is why I like the Operatic efforts of Nightwish. The singer has some very peculiar aspects to her voice that I appreciate.
Likewise but I care not because it's just so beautiful. Hell, people think I'm crazy when I listen to the entire score of the HMS Pinafore. Uncultured sods.
