Since Pastamancer's offsite SVN has been dead for a while, I've created a WowAce project page for the UTF8 lib. Addons using it should update their .pkgmeta to point to the new repository on WowAce.

I don't anticipate any bug reports or feature requests, since the library has been working without any changes whatsoever for years, and is unlikely to require any changes in the future, but if there are any, post a comment on the project page.

Description:
Provides UTF-8 aware string functions implemented in pure lua:

• string.utf8len(s)
• string.utf8sub(s, i, j)
• string.utf8reverse(s)

If utf8data.lua (containing the lower<->upper case mappings) is loaded, these additional functions are available:

• string.utf8upper(s)
• string.utf8lower(s)

All functions behave as their non UTF-8 aware counterparts with the exception that UTF-8 characters are used instead of bytes for all units.

Hmm, so it is. Nice of Blizzard to fail at adding it to the string metatable. Probably faster to point string.utf8len at Blizzard's function... I might change it in the lib.
