Toadkiller, can I get you to consider moving "Consumable.Quest.Usable" to "Misc.Quest.Usable"? When someone chooses the "Consumable.*" top level set, everything it returns should be consumable. I did try to eat my X-52 Rocket Helmet, but it didn't turn out well.

Makes sense. I would like to postpone that till after the new alpha hits the SVN though. Or if you need it right away feel free to modify the svn AutoBar.
I heard if u boil the helmet for a week in Toxic Horror juices it makes a tasty stew...
If anyone's got time, PeriodicTable-3.0-Reputation.lua needs updated for the changes to old factions like Timbermaw and Argent Dawn. Specifically I've made this change in my copy since I'm working on Timbermaw rep:
I don't know if all of the rep gains for the factions mentioned in the patch notes doubled, but all the Timbermaw ones seem to have. (so I changed the 15s that were above into 30s)
Here are some items that should be added to Consumable.Quest.Usable. I've been collecting missing ones for a while and decided it was about time for me to get off my ass and post them here. I can commit the change to data.lua but I haven't been able to run compresssplit.lua on my PC. Let me know if you guys want me to commit them.
Here are some items that should be added to Consumable.Quest.Usable.
Go ahead & commit them next time. They will be picked up next time someone runs the script or just post that it needs running. I added your list this time though.
How hard is to implement submenus on tradeskill recipe links, as we have already on manufac submenu? It is quite easy/handy to find what you want that way, instead of searching an huge list with everything in there.
Also, not 100% sure if such change should be done on PeriodicTable-3.0, as i use PT3Browser to navigate on items.
Mmm, 32601 (Unstable Flask of the Sorcerer) is not showing up in your autogenned Consumable.Buff Type. Both
Its text uses the word Flask only.
Love that Blizzard consistency!
Changing the data mining script to look for "effect persists through death" will fix it. I'll commit that change.
Edit: Actually that misses 13506 [Flask of Petrification] which doesn't persist through death. So now the mining script compiles a list from both searches.

Good stuff.
Can I interrest you in doing a script for Gear.Trinkets as well?
So were you still planning to move the usable quest items out of "Consumables"?
Ok ill do that today then. By the way this serves as notice that sometime today the badly categorized Consumable.Quest.Usable
is moving to Misc.Usable.Permanent
Misc.Usable.Quest
Misc.Usable.Replenished
Permanent: Brewfest Pony Keg, Archmage Vargoth's popular "Staff of annoying raid leaders", that kind of thing. Quest: usable items (you need to click the actual item to use it) in a quest line that Blizzard removes on quest completion. Replenished: dailies, bombing run stuff, booterang, etc. that you can run out of but get replenished again
For now Quest has the bulk of the items but over time the others will get split out.
I understand we're in a slight state of flux with some re-categorization of certain items, but i was hoping you'd have the time to answer a quick question for me.
I'm currently using Rabbit's NRT raid tracking addon for recording attendance and loot, using the in-built XML data export as a feed for our home-grown DKP system. There's a requirement that we can lookup the chosen final loot from a token during the raid, and assign the appropriate loot before import into the system.
For instance, Void Reaver drops [Pauldrons of the Vanquished Defender] - Item ID: 30249. How can I ask PeriodicTable for a list of items (or item links/IDs) which can be attained when turning in the token, so I can then modify the loot list accordingly?
I presume I first need to determine if the token is part of a set that drops from the boss:
I have made a few changes to the dataminer, adding documentation about the utility functions provided, a query cache and updates to the elixir/flask code.
I also added some code to retrieve much better loot tables from boss. This works by checking the number of sources for each item in the drop list of each boss. Obviously, this strategy puts a lot more strain on wowhead, as a full update went from ~1800 requests to around 7000.
The code is disabled, as I'm unsure if it's a good idea to let that much queries happen by default.
I also added 23818 to Misc.Usable.Quest.

Why does it matter ?
You know, I take that back. It may make it back into a PTR again...

I presume I first need to determine if the token is part of a set that drops from the boss:
PT3:ItemInSet(30249, "InstanceLoot.The Eye.Void Reaver")
If so, get the set:
PT3:GetSetTable("InstanceLoot.The Eye.Void Reaver")
Then I'm a little stuck...
I do apologise if this question has been answered before, but I'm relatively new to this library.
Thanks for your help.
