Embeding into a library

How would i go about embedding RockComm into another library?

You wouldn't iirc, as that could create circular referencing.

best way to do it is to seperate the comm functions in to a seperate namespace with in the lib IE:

--Section 1: Comm LibCommFuncs = Rock("LibRock-1.0") ...Comm funcs... --Section 2: Lib local Lib = LibStub:NewLib(Major, Minor) .. Lib funcs.. Lib:SendComns(...) LibComFuncs:SendCommMessage(...) end

least that's how i would think it would be done.

Unless you want to set RockComm as a dependency for your library? In that case, you'd do it the same way as with a regular addon, I believe...

seerah thats what i was thinking but from what i can gather rock would not like it if the library would be upgraded (newer version loading after a old version was already loaded) the NewAddon command would fail upon lib upgrade (hmmm maybe i can unregister before reregistering)
