You can read each of the lua files from Ace3 to get documentation or ask the wiki:
But there is alot missing in the wiki sadly, but creating documentation sucks and is boring so i can understand them :D
but creating documentation sucks and is boring so i can understand them :D
... and i can't understand THEM. Seriously, I really think it is so much pointless to create something and does not provide any information about it. I am a beginner and i am almost conviced that it is not WORTH bothering Ace3 at all !!!! because of one simple fact. There is not diocumatation, whereas stanard "doing" addons by XML as interface and lua files as enlosing actions is hundred times easier to do ... just because everything is explained. :/
I would always recommend for "beginners" to start with pure and simple addon development anyway. You learn so much stuff about the UI that you would miss out on, if you use a framework for that.
Once you are familiar with the overall UI concept and design, its so much easier to understand the concepts of using a framework to ease your development process. Besides, we have some docs that explain how to create very simple Ace3 addons, and use the most common features. ;)
Using raw AceGUI-3.0 is pretty advanced material already, and you really should understand the UI concepts before using it.
