Hi! I have been searching for a way to fix this issue, as Blizz is taking its time fixing it themselves. Once Horde got their new motorcycles, I noticed the sound for them is very loud. So loud, in fact, when they are around, I cannot hear other sounds..
Yes, I have tried lowering my Sound in-game, but that doesn't fix this issue. I even reported it to a GM, who agreed it was a current "bug" of sorts, and to put it in the bug report.
Anyway, I have no clue how to make mods.. but if anyone could make a mod to make the new motorcycle sounds quieter... I would be ever so thankful.
** I do not want to mute the sound.. just wanted to clarify that. Making it 50% or so quieter would be great.
You'd have to take the same approach as the "mute the sound" packages, but instead of using an empty sound file, get a copy of the actual sound and use some sound editing software to reduce the volume. You could extract the sound from the game files, or just download it from Wowhead.
