25man raids, Ur a tank, u track hots, big cooldowns like divine guardian or pain suppression, and shields(with value) through addons,
and instant heals and cast heal results in scrolling battle text.
but what about heals that are being cast(with cast-time) on you?
from a blood dk tank perspective, having all this data is needed to maximize your survival potential to preserve your cool-downs for when they are actually needed.
so you have 2-3 healers assigned to you, less or more, apart from shields, hots, instants, is anyone casting a big heal on me?, who is casting it?, wich healing spell is it, big or small?, when will it be done casting?.
Clogging up vent asking if anyones casting a big heal on me is not really an option, nor is targeting or mouseing over all healers(or even those 1-4 assingned to you) to find out if they are targeting you with a big heal cast in progress. Since well yeah ur tanking ;).
iv been looking around and haven't really found anything that could do this. Not sure if its a API limitation, cause someone must have thought of this before, or maybe there is an awesome addon out there already doing this that i haven't found.
so basicly id like a castbar to pop up when anyone is casting a healing spell on me, who is casting, what spell and cast time. Some say it would be way to much clutter in the ui, but ur rarely cast healed by more than 3-4 healers at any given time. so thats not really a big deal concerning ui space. And the info is invaluable.
i was thinking this might be doable in weakauras, but im not that code savvy to create the custom stuff to make that happen.
