What would you think of an in-raid Karma addon, where everyone can award any other raider of the raidgroup with good or bad Karma? So you could downrate a not well performing player, or award a player who just saved the raids ass with his/her latest proposal?
An overview at the end of the raid would make sense... and rules like 'you may grant good Karma indefinetly, but bad Karma only once'.
I'm still in the brainstorming phase... did someone else the same brainstorming already? and hey... this could well be an ora[23] plugin ;)
But how should it sync ? Should it sync with negatively rated people that also have this addon installed ? or only with guild members ?
it would be sufficient if the raidleader would have a whisper catching addon with a result posting option...

no whispers: neutral
more sophisticated would be an interface where each raider can rate everyone else. And probably with two ratings: social behavior and game skills.
I'm a bit confused as to what the purpose of this would be. Are you talking about guild raids? If so, are your guild/raid leaders not able to determine who is underperforming without asking the entire guild to vote? Is your guild modeled on Survivor? Or are you talking about pug raids? If so, why not just use one of the many available and well-established addons that let you rate players? What is the purpose of letting everyone rate everyone else in the raid? Do you really care what some random stranger thinks of another random stranger?

With what you are proposing, anyone could rate *you* negatively, even the PUGs. Before syncing those kinds of data, I think you have to choose who to trust and who to ignore.
And as Phanx says, there are already several rating addons out there, e.g. PlayRate.
Wouldn't it be a lot simpler just to institute a policy whereby guild members could privately share criticism of other guild members with the officers? If you've got so many players in your guild that you think you need some kind of group rating system to rate them and keep track of who's underperforming in raids, I'd say you have a bigger problem to solve than an addon will really help with. :|

I'd still like that as an ora plugin... anyone?

and yes, i agree, we _do have_ more problems in the guild than that. But that would actually help us - weird, hu?
Link? can't find it on curse, wowi and google...
