I've long been meaning to rewrite Enhanced Colour Picker (the code is quite a mess right now, and it depends on Ace2), and hex input is something I will add when I do so. The other stuff though I probably wouldn't add, as it's not really useful... how often are you changing tons of colors where you need presets anyway?
I came up with the idea of presets because at the moment you can just hold one color in the clipboard. When creating or tuning whole ui layouts i am usually using different colors for...
... so i would love to have five predefinied color presets to use.
I understand that the other features i have mentioned are somewhat nonessential but i would love to have some color presets (that are stored between the sessions) available for extensive ui customizing :-)
Actually, having a couple of memory buttons for storing presets would be quite useful when trying to configure multiple addons or elements within an addon to create a particular color scheme in my UI. Wouldn't necessarily have to be persistent across sessions though I don't think.
I'd actually like to see 1-2 buttons that remember my favourite color choice across every kind of sessions ;P
I like to use a certain color for pretty much everything, and it would be handy to have a quick link to that when I have to (re)configure something.
Of course I can go to the preferences of an addon that already uses that color, click copy on ECP, go to the new addon's preferences, edit the color and paste the color to ECP, but a one click solution would be nice. :)
Oh and I also think that the RGB values could be shown in 0-255 values too. I think most applications/converters use that more than 0-1 scale.
