As a shadowpriest I basically have 3 spells that i am tracking at any one time, Vampiric Touch, Devouring Plague and Mind Blast. VT and DP are dots with a specific duration and mindblast is a nuke with a specific cooldown. Ideally I would like to be able to track this all in one timer bar set up.
I know that with fortewarlock I can set this up, but It has a lot of functionality that I dont need. I was wondering if there is an addon where I could preset what I want tracked in a timer and not have to filter out all the spells I don't want to be tracked. (I hope this makes sense)
DoTimer's documentation is horrible, but it will let you do what you want. Looks very good in action, too. Don't be intimidated by the array of config controls, either, they're all there for a reason and most of the time you don't need to change them.
DoTimer's configuration got a lot better with the last release. There's also rumors of an extensive FAQ and documentation on it in the works, so this sort of thing can be answered faster. However, if you're only looking to watch a few buffs, Auracle is the way I would go with that.
