Functionally it looks great, one thing I would like to see (don't know if its possible) is another column (maybe optional) that shows the professions of each character/alt.
e.g.
Name - Zone - Lvl - Class - Profession1 - Profession2
Even better would be if you could click on the profession to bring up the stuff they can make.
Appearance wise I've got to agree with the others so far, would be nice to have options for the looks. But don't worry about that until you get it working :)

I'd be interested to see how you're planning to enhance the Guild Control options. It's one of the worst things Blizzard has implemented. Heck even a separate addon just for that would be nice (keeping small functions to individual addons, like Guild Filter for search).

if you can get the GUID of a player, you can generate a trade link for them and if they're online, opening that tradelink will reveal their level in that trade. this could be kind of handy to discover what trades people have, tho it has no ability to discover what actual skills they have in those trades. i don't think there's anyway to get a GUID of a guild mate, tho... you'd have to target them or get them in a party or raid...
it wouldn't let you click to browse, but it would still be nice to know.
edit: nevermind. this is apparently NOT how it works. if you generate a fake link for yourself, then it seems to know your true levels (0 for something you don't know) but for others it seems to obey what's in the link no matter what their true level is...
Much Needed addon. I can't wait to download a stable version.
And don't listen to those folks saying they won't use it just because of the way the UI looks. :p I think it looks just fine. :D
If all you do is alt management that would be awesome!
Here are a few things off the top of my head....
- Keep alts together even if someone removes their main from the guild.
- When shift clicking someones name in the chat frame, inject alt names into the /who info return string.
* Are you going to try and include Guild Master functions?
- Rank promote / demote
- Batch rank promotion / demotion. (all alts at once)
- Guild permissions UI? (blizzards' is currently horrid)
And don't listen to those folks saying they won't use it just because of the way the UI looks. :p I think it looks just fine. :D
We're just saying that we *personally* won't use it due to the appearance and he should be aware that more than one person would like to see it with a way to change the window appearance.

Like some kind of addon that data mined the armoury for your guild members professions?
I know its possible to do web based (Antiarcs tools) but no idea how it would be done with an addon.
