I'm wondering if anyone is interested in/have the time to convert or update Venantes ( http://wow.curse.com/downloads/details/4542/ ), since it's not been updated in over a year and it's libraries are out of date. There is allready an Ace2 version of Cryolysis, a mage version of this mod. Would be awesome if anyone would do this.
However, you can update the libraries that it uses -- that's what I've been doing monthly since I figured out what ones they are. I use a shell script on my Mac to download, unpack, and move the necessary library files into the Venantes addon.
Venantes is still working even though it is outdated. By now there probably is a few things that might need to be fixed, but nothing that I've noticed that prevents it from working the way it should.

yes?
It could be rewritten.
no?
Don't touch.
"Out of date" does imply neglect, however, and there's no harm in forking a neglected addon into something more modern.
I'd definitely agree that futzing with an existing, working addon on the SVN is bad, bad, bad however.
Hello, I have started to update for a Classic TBC version I am blocking on some parts of the code.
