Thought it better I post this here rather than in the thread in the Unitframes forums.
Basically the initial topic was for a mod that would change the positioning of the of the pitbull unitframes about depending on what you were doing at the time. i.e if you were solo there player and target frames would be in one place. if you were grouped the player target frames would move and the group frames would be displayed. Same for raids, 10man raids the raid frames could have more details on who is alive etc, theier mana status and so on where as when in a 20-40 man raid the unitframes could again change and adjust showing less details and taking less processing time.
All this could be done by using the profiles that pitbull has available. All the layout changing addon would have to do is scan the group size periodically (or when zoning into a instance) and load the profile required at the time.
Further to the above I was wondering if it would be also possible to make other addons that use profiles be available to the changing mod so that the whole ui could change when needed (eg, simple minimap could have two profiles, a minimal one for 25man raiding and a full one for 10man/group/solo etc the addon would then call the profile when required)
I just started using Pitbull and would love this feature.
In my 10man raid layout I have two groups with a decent amount of information showing.
If I try to join a AB/AV game or 25man raids I usually need to log and disable Pitbull and enable Perfect Raid.
Since I'm a healer I dont have much need for alot of extra information other than Health while in large groups.
I was hoping for a way to alternate between Flat class groups (20/25/40man groups) and the saved 10man raid group. To take it one step further I really like the way Perfect Raid allows me to configure a flat bar with as many groups as I want.
Example: Flat Bar 1 contains groups 1-2, Flat Bar 2 contains groups 3-4, etc.
EDIT: not exactly what the original post was looking for but it's the same general idea
