In my regular groups, I handle the auctioning and splitting of BoE world drops so we can all profit equally. Mostly I do this manually and by memory; however, I'm prone to mistakes. Chiefly, I often send messages and forget to include the gold split from the item - or whether I even did include it.
I was wondering if anyone knew of a mod which tracks individual messages and their attachments. Or, if this doesn't exist and it is not a terrible inconvenience, could perhaps write a small standalone mod which could do this. It does not even need a GUI, really. A simple commandline interface and a list into the chat window of the previous X messages would suffice.
I have tried Postman out previously. It doesn't really have what I am looking for, except the /postman track command which will show how long messages have until they arrive. In the case of gold, this is useless, since gold is sent instantly. Additionally, as you say, it does not include attachments, only the message name. However, while I have only the most rudimentary knowledge of LUA, I might be able to rip code from Postman and modify it to get what I wanted.
If anyone has any other suggestions, I am interested in hearing them.
