Hmm, I just realized I have the old Interface number in the TOC, wonder if it could be something with that...though I guess if you didn't have load out of date on it wouldn't load at all.
Another possibility is I have a lib linked wrong in the TOC and its already loaded for me by another mod, but I'm not seeing anything obviously wrong.
Yeah, it's loading, I do have load out of date checked ;). It's just dying on load.
Would you mind checking and seeing if another addon is loading Babble-Spell? I know I don't have one, I checked to make sure it wasn't some weird versioning conflict with the library.
I all looks right to me... I haven't a clue why it isn't functoning. I'm going to try it on a clean install when I get home ^^.
I'll give that a test (when I get home... sigh, 7 hours to go!). I've been contemplating extracting the externals for some time now, maybe it's time I do it.
Krsnik, your fix didn't help, mainly because I can't find a copy of the standalone Babblelib at the moment with the SVN being locked and not all the mods on it available.
Bigwigs doesn't appear to use Babble-Spell-2.0.
Hostelbar (from WoWI) solved the problem. So Grayhoof, SBC is definately not loading Babble-Spell correctly. Although I looked at Hostelbar and it's identical as far as I can see :(.
I noticed that Death Coil heal is on Targets side too with the dmg from it, however the heal should be on the left. Also is ther an option to change the backround alpha at the moment? And any options or slash commands coming soon?
I'll have a version out this weekend with options and such, just working through what all it can do. I do plan to change the name, just hadn't worried about it yet. I'll post in on the SVN when its ready and link the zip here.
One issue though: why can't I use SetTexCoord on the icons? It keeps saying invalid method or something like this.
how did u get it to look like that? or did u edit the .lua?
I have these open spaces between each hit, which makes it show too little info on too big of an area
Its workin and lookin great man, the icons could probably have their edges cropped off and the icon shrunk a pixel or two. would squeeze a line or two onto the window.
Actually, I just went into the xml and reduced all the 20s to 15s and that shrunk the icons and compacted the text very nicely.
Cropping the textures is a great idea, though. Gotta try to impliment that.
Edit: Changing the 20s to 15s compacted everything up, but also shrunk the scrollable area... Probably still could be made to work, I'm just an XML nub.

Maybe I'm loading it up the wrong way, but it just works for me cause one of them is loading it correctly =)
Add
in the .toc and it should load babble spell (at least for me it does)
This is how I use it atm: http://krsnik.funpic.de/sbc.jpg

oh, and I just wanted to say that.... battlechat is a pretty lame name, if you'd like to change it you are more than welcome :)
My only issue with the name is I keep confusing it with SCT in the mod menu!
