To make a profile editor for the addons screen on login page? so i can log in, change to my warriors addons or my priests addons with just one click, then enter the game?
i am aware there are addons (ace included if you are mad for slash commands, which im not after months of flexbar) that do this anyway (ace included if you are mad for slash commands, which im not after months of flexbar) but in game and depend on a reloadui but would rather sort it before i log in.

I'm pretty sure you can just do...
/ace profile class
this should let whatever class you want be setup to the specific AddOns you want loaded. So when you login only those AddOns should be loaded.
Yeah, he said he knows about that. But what I think he is looking for is a way to do it for ALL addons. Which, is possible, and I think there is an addon called LoadIt that does this, although it's not perfect, it works.
i have loadit and use it. i also check that loadit doing it right by verifying it with ace.
what i mean was a thing in the log in screen. not in game. the little button in bottom left corner says "addons". click that and i want a mod that puts profiles on that page.

I'm not sure how possible/legal, for that matter, it is to cahnge things outside of the In-Game UI. I know there used to be a few AddOns that allowed you to automatically login when WoW starts and such but I think Blizz got rid of that functionality. Anyways I think that would be a great addition and I, as well, would be interested in it.
You COULD, however, write a small program to move directories or rename .toc files so you can do it when you run WoW. Run "warrior.exe" which renames "priestmod.toc" to "no_priestmod.toc" which would stop it from loading.
But there's no mod we can write that changes how the login screen works... Unless there's frameXML or glueXML changes we can make (does glue still work?) -- but Blizzard suggests against that since they plan to remove the option to use it.
Weel, It seems that on the test client, I'm assuming that means it will be in the live realms once 1.9 goes live, You can save AddOns on the Character select screen per character. If you click the AddOns button in the lower left, you can setup AddOns for "Player1", Player2", "Player3", ect. from a drop down list. I *assume* this means that only those AddOns will load when you login to that Character. You wouldn't even need a button for this, it would happen all by itself. This is one thing Blizzard is doing right...
Yes, 1.9's addon menu works how you think, select a player chang his addons. on the "all" setting it'll tell you "This addon does not load for all characters" if you've disabled it on some.

So your priest can turn off adons, and your warrior will still have them on. Instead of per-account-addons,like it is now.
