This mod merges the bags as mybags and onebag do but it has some usefull features (in my opinion) like sorting items by quality and tipology (pots , food trade skill stuff...) and flagging the items in the invetory as new when they are added to the bags for a quick lookup
The problem is that it doesn't work with SOM, sell value and i think with other mods that deal with items and bags...
The other problem is that it seems to make me loose some FPS (that could be laggimonde fault, been using since the last week when the bad lag grown strong)...
Could be possible to add The "NEW" flag and maybe some editable categories?
Every engy would love u for life :D
Sick of mousing over shitloads of stuff cause they look to similar to each other
Thx in advance and sorry for my crappy english hope it make sense to u...
When I broke the 50mb barrior and had to increase the mem to 60 I decided it was time to start over. Since then I've installed almost exclusivly Ace addons with a few exceptions and am down to around 20mb. Ya I'm missing a few things but overall game play is so much nicer with reloads when zones happening in a fraction of the previous time.
I tried to get Engival (the author of EngInventory) to stop the moment he started and take a look at OneBag and MyBags and base his underlying code on them, since they essentially guarantee that any other inventnroy mods will work with them.
He shrugged me off like nothing mattered but making his mod, which was really sad 'cause it's too high memory usage and too incompatable for me. Not a bad idea to consider throwing the "new" and the sorting, which I bet we could take almost directly from his code, into a new Ace Mod, MAYBE MyBags, but probably its own mod. Hi again, UltraBag! :P
::grumble grumble::
I really need to work on MyBags/OneBag.
if only i had the time too...
(yes, I really want to implement this sort of feature in the future too, but it's very time consuming and time is one thing I haven't really had to spend on MyBags)
I have it running between 50-60 MB atm. It was 65-73 a week ago but I decided then to dump some mods :D
I see no reason as to why someone would NOT try to have a clean workspace. your HUD in this case. I think its an absolute neccesity to see as much of the 3d world as possible. All i see on my screen is my minimap, wich is toggle'able and the buttons on my chat window.
I have my bags/micro buttons hidden until i mouse over them (bottomright corner) and i'm working on a solution for my action buttons. I have my nymbia's perl unit frames centered, no user picture, under my player model. so i can look at the health at the place where the battle takes place, not ot the other side of my screen. About 12-24 buttons varying in size/importance in a circle form make up my action bar left of the unit frames. it's static for now but i plan to have two of these (offensive, defensive) appear at my mouse position for quick access when i press mouse4/5.
i dont need anything else to play wow effectively. Prove me wrong, ill gladly discuss the matter with anyone (in the name of making a better hud)
When im totally satisfied with my hud i'm going to release my setup script (note, i wont ship all the addons with my savedvariables. users are going to have to put some effort into it, like me). Hopefully this will increase popularity of Visor too ;)
I'm just going to say one thing in response to that in an effort to prevent any momentous flaming from erupting.
Any man who calls another man an idiot on the basis of his individuality, convictions and his freedom to do what he will with his own circumstances is, quite frankly, an idiot.
Did it ever register to you, that you were being unnecessarily offensive when you said that?
Did it also ever register to you, that the human race isn't (yet) a multitude of clones, and that different people actually consider what you would call an "efficient workspace" differently? (note my choice of emitting clean - if it works for you, then good for you!)
Not to mention, you completely ignored the rest of his post, as he clearly stated he didn't like it, and started over.

You are right here, guess i was in a bad mood.

Not to mention that you should read this thread again and look at who writes what.
and to prevent any more "oh my he said idiot, hes such a bad bad boy!" posts, ill go and edit my post.
hehe, please don't take offense at what I posted, it was just meant to 'shock' in the same way your original post shocked me when I read it, because I don't believe you *meant* to be that crude in your delivery.
I guess everyone's so damn nice and friendly on these forums, even something little like that stands out like a sore thumb.
Oh and thanks for changing your post, you're forgiven, we still love you!
edit: i was wondering what you meant in that second section, then i had a look back, I totally missed that one line post of his, lol oops. guess we all make mistakes!
