I was at work today, and ofcourse I was thinking about WOW. I was thinking if it would be a good idea to have a mod that records the time from when you EnterCombat to when you LeaveCombat. I would love it if it was all command line based, and I could just see the time of my last fight, or see how long it took us to kill Domo.
What do you think? Have people areleady attemped to make something like this?
A few different things, but I haven't used it in a long time, so I don't fully remember. Actually if you're just looking for some combat reporting, it's probably nothing you'd want. It was more or less my amalgam mod that contained a few combat features I wanted.
Y'know, Macromatic and Timex could do this easily.
Add the following to Macromatic;
PLAYER_REGEN_ENABLED#local time = floor(Timex:NamedScheduleCheck("MacromaticCombatTimer", TRUE)) time = time > 60 and format("%.2f", settext / 60).."m" or time.."s" Macromatic.Msg("Battle lasted %s.", time) Timex:DeleteNamedSchedule("MacromaticCombatTimer")
< Edit >
Changed the print-line slightly, it's nicer that way.
Of course, it'd help if I put the 'TRUE' in CheckNamedSchedule, which is what forces it to return the time. I knew I'd forgotten something. >.<
