After about 15 mins of doing anything my memory shoots to 30 mb or above and my FPS drops to 10 or lower from 75 plus FPS. I start with about 17 to 24 mb depending what addons I have on for raiding or farming.
I have no Virus or any problems with windows that I can find. I also have my CPU overclocked x2 atm. After the lag starts I can reload my UI via comand then it drops to normal then same thing again picks right back up to above 30 and reload again. If anyone knows away to find my problem lemmy know. I've also tried to single out each addon but I'm having no luck finding the one thats doing it.
I have to turn off atlas and ark during raids. and part of prat. still running high. And I have use Highjack this for windows to check it. all is normal.
You didn't list your CPU specs but I'm guessing you're highly CPU bound on that system. My old desktop had an A8N-SLI series motherboard (can't remember if it was deluxe or premium) and a dual-core Athlon 64 X2 processor and was severely limited by the CPU.
How do you know it's due to addons? Have you tried disabling all addons and playing with the default UI?
It came down to xperl, bartender4 and prat that are the problems in that order.
What would be a good way to catch the problem in each of the addons? I know there are other addons that catch problems. But whats the best one to use for these 3.

Ora2. Prat, Scrolling Combat Text, Squeenix, Skinner, Xperl, and DBM.

Curse PremiumDo make sure it is a WoW issue, rather than a background windows process choking your PC.
How do you know it's due to addons? Have you tried disabling all addons and playing with the default UI?
