I keep getting the following error when i am in raids.
Interface\addons\GridStatusShield\LibShieldLeft.lua:376:attempt to index global âselfâ (a nil value)
Any suggestions on how to fix it?
This thread is for the addon Grid. The developers of Grid are not responsible for, and do not provide support for, any plugins. Since your error is caused by the plugin GridStatusShield, it does not belong in this thread, and nobody in this thread will help you with it. Post your error on the plugin's download page, in the plugin's official thread if one exists, or contact the author directly.
Also, I am moving this post out of the Grid thread and into the HELP! forum where it better belongs.
Error: Removed shield was not in list.
Error: New shield already in list
And in battlegrounds:
Error: Could not get full name for unit:Unknown
Error: Aegis of player although he doesn't have skilled it. Please report this error to addon author.
Also, got this one in a battleground:
Error: Refreshed shield not in list
where I was the only priest (on both teams) and didn't have a shield cast. At raids, it gets to the point where the Warcraft client kicks in and asks if I want to disable addons due to high volume of errors.
I do like this a lot, been helpful many times and nice to see the rest. I don't know much about coding, but if it would help to be more specific, let me know.
yes it does. I too love this addon, it seems to happen over time, the longer i play the more it happens with the same targets, however it never happens to me. it will thro up the errors as stated above and it will keep adding the new shield i cast to the old ammont, but it nevers clears it out so my Shield absorbs 5k, i thro on another shield later it is now at 10k and so on. please please fix it=) Im a disc priest and cant livce with out it now lol.
Yeah I've gone 25er raid and battleground this week the first time myself and was horrified about the amount of errors I've got...the problem is: I've gone through the code about 30 times now and I still don't have the slightest clue whats causing this.
