Hey everyone, I have noticed something strange. I used to see these red messages like "Target is too far away.", "You don't have enough mana." So on, but recently it is not showing up. I have tried turning off each add on manually and then seeing if it is showing up but nothing.
Has anyone else experienced this and maybe it is a blizzard command that I am missing. I do have the Blizzard box checked to show LUA errors so that isn't it either. I just miss those notifications.
My main is the one who seems to have the most problems with this. Aside from that, all other mods are working ok.
Oh yeah, I keep forgetting that my hubby is getting this, too... What will need to be done is to disable mods until you find the culprit. (I just haven't made him do that yet.)
One nice thing I've found about running fully embedded is that it's easy to move addon folders in and out of my AddOns folder in order to effectively disable them while narrowing down a problem.
I use QuestFu and also Errormonster. I tried to direct the messages to another output but that still didn't work. I downloaded the new PlayerNotify.zip from the QuestFu thread and still didn't work.
I turned off Errormonster and my error frame returned. Go figure.
I am using nquestsfu and it is working fine, still no error window but I used error monster and it appeared which was nice...
What? There is a new errormonster available. Alas it does not solve the problem addressed in this thread. But it does mmm help. Not sure what you are saying. I'm on my way to being drunk yes but where are you?

hrmm... if it's not an addon doing it (OP: did you try with *all* addons disabled?) then what else could it be?
I haven't looked if there is an updated version that might fix the problem though.
I can confirm this: it was Fubar - QuestFu for me (which is a predecessor of BetterQuest).
On that note, anyone know a good replacement for that? A simple Fubar quest plugin would do...
