I would realy like some addon that I can mass whisper to my entire guild some text, but only officers/gm should be able to use it.
Sometimes is useful this thing. Especialy when I am trying to make an ingame announcement. Is there anything like this?

Is there a reason /guild couldn't be used for this?
ppl do not react to /guild messages, and if I have to say anything important, not everyone pays attention. Even myself, don't read guild chat all day, but I do react to the purple color of a whisper when I get one.
Don't know how blizzard handles it, but anyway I won't say anything except something like this: "pls watch guild chat, I have an announcement to make".
Ofc we can use forum, but things like "get ready for invite", or "what do you think about a fast zul'aman run" and many other would be much nicer to be able to do it ingame.

You could always make another channel for things like that, or make the channel for chatter and make it clear that /guild is for announcements or whatnot. Though keeping /guild as-is would probably be the better bet...
could always make an addon stub, in ~40lines of code that would regex out guild chat for an announcement and then port that though the Raid Warning frame, sound and all.

If his guildmates don't watch the guild chat, they won't ever install such addon.
true, so the solution to this problem is to make somehow distract their attention.
And this can be done using DBM maybe (don't know how, was just an idea), or any kind of chat message that all can see, and react to. (colored somehow- purple is best in my opinion, also sounds ca do that).
