I'm not entirely sure what spawned the issue, but I have been having some ongoing issues with Wardrobe2. Initially it began when I first got my Netherdrake. It seems that if I would hop off of my mount by doing something (mining, opening, or casting), it would be interrupted when I would dismount. This never happened on any other mount before, and I'm not sure if it's just game mechanics, or Wardrobe2 switching between my riding gear and my fighting gear.
The #2 issue, which is the more important of the ones, happens very frequently. It hasn't seemed to mattered how I dismount, either by performing an action or dismounting normally. When I will hop off, my wardrobe2 will switch from mounted to fighting, and will get 2 error messages saying "This item can't be used right now", or the like. Again, with it saying fighting, my mounted gear will still be on my toon, and it will never switch. To resolve this, I have to hit the dropdown for Wardrobe2, and proceed to re-select fighting.
Is this even worth troubleshooting? Or should I try switching to something like ClosetGnome?
The issue is that game mechanics changed in the last patch. Whatever you are casting/chanelling will be interrupted if you switch gear. What is happening is that Wardrobe is not waiting for you to finish casting (the mining 'cast' for example) before switching your gear.
I don't know about ClosetGnome, but I know that Outfitter has addressed this issue already by waiting until you finish your cast before switching gear.
