as topic

i recently noticed that hovering over items shows up any items in the guild bank of alts, or more recently toons that became unguilded.

i'm not 100% sure what addon is causing it, tho i have eliminated Altoholic and ArkInv from the hunt.

any ideas would be greatly welcomed.

p.s. if a screenie of my addon folder is required, please let me know, and i'll supply one asap :)

Could be something related to Possessions. I use Possessions+WhoHas, but I think Possessions by itself doesn't add anything to tooltips.

hmmm, i've had possesions installed a good while, and its never been hooking tooltips. even tho its on the list, i dont think its currently enabled, due to moving over to Altoholic :/

I'm fairly certain some component of the Auctioneer package adds something like that to your tooltips.

Also, unrelated to your question, I see you have an "Interface" folder inside your AddOns folder. This probably means you installed an addon, but it never showed up in-game. Inside that extra folder I bet you'll see another "AddOns" folder, and inside that an addon that needs to be moved up in your actual AddOns folder. :P

Altoholic has this feature, I'm sure about it :)

you are correct, there is a folder there, it stores any *i dont use any more, but keep them just in case* addons. probably not the best place for it i must admit

i already said, this option was both disabled within Altoholic, and Altoholic removed completely, the tooltip persisted though

Disable addons one by one until the junk goes away. :P

actually, what i should have said, was that its displaying the contents of the WRONG guild banks, i.e. a guild i joined to help out some friends .....

that is a more accurate description of my problem :P

I'm probably arriving a bit late, but if that may help, Altoholic is indeed hooking the tooltip, and I can confirm that in your original screenshot, only 2 lines come from Altoholic:

Aderyn: 8 (Bags: 8)
Total owned: 8

I can't say where the rest comes from.. hope this helps :)
