First, full disclosure - I am a relative newbie to WoW so excuse my ignorance if anything I mention should be obvious to me :)
I was looking for a simple, small mod to manage needed buffs on myself and others and came across CorkFu. It looked very promising and exactly what I was wanting. I had no problem setting it up initially, except that I couldn't find any way to actually have it cast the spells. After a long time searching I finally found that you had to create a macro to "/click CorkFuFrame" in order to use it. This is a bit counterintuitive, and might be something to stick into a readme for new users, to save them some time. That said, is there any way to make it clickable so you can simply click the buffs you want to cast?
Also I am having another issue. Because of the macro, it appears that CorkFu can only cycle through the items in the list one by one, meaning that at any given point you can only cast whatever is at the top of the list. This creates a problem when a party member is out of range, since the whole thing stops working - some of my other buffs are lower down on the list and have to be cast manually.
In battlegrounds, the tooltip shows up with entries that are a little confusing (at least to me). Things like "(X) Group 1 - 5 units" where X is a checkmark. What do they mean, what are they for? These entries regularly appear above other buffs and once these show up, the /click macro stops working as well.
And finally (heh), is there any way to have CorkFu queue up the spells at once, to avoid mashing the key binding?
Other than these issues, I really like the plugin for its simplicity, especially the helpful additions like clam shucking (always used to forget to do that until my inventory was full ;)
Greetings all. I have another handy modification, for CorkFu this time. I got tired of the buff queue stopping when someone was out of range or otherwise unavailable, so I added the most basic hack I could think of to get rid of this. Basically if the unit is not in follow/inspect range (30 yards) they will be filtered from the list (and thus not block the remaining buffs in the queue). Hope this helps anyone else with the same problem.
I know that CorkFu ain't maintained anymore, but figured the taint log might point to a change in secure code as I've never had taint from it before. I was pretty surprised when the dialogue popped up and asked to ignore or reload.
