There seems to be another nameplate frame, or I should say a portion of another nameplate frame, that is conflicting with my aloft addon.
I've done some troubleshooting myself and here's what I've managed to find out so far.
The problem occurred when I updated my addons via the WAU (WoW Ace Updater).
When I revert to a previous version of my UI Aloft displays correctly like so: Correct Aloft
As you can see the bar texture, and class color are displaying clearly.
When a select few addons are updated the issue occurs. Aloft seems to have a display conflict. Incorrect Aloft
You can see the class color, and bar texture is distorted by what looks like a slightly transparent turquoise bar. That's a shaman in the photo above so his nameplate should display like the 1st picture.
Here is a picture of Aloft with all it's frame components fully transparent. You can see the conflicting "turquoise bar" remains.
When I concluded that the issue was likely a conflicting mod I disabled aloft to see if the default nameplate would display. It did not, confirming some sort of conflict. Here is what displayed with Aloft Disabled:
It appears that the background of this nameplate is our "turquoise bar". The problem is I don't know where it's coming from. All I know is it appears when I update my UI via the Wow Ace Updater. "turquoise bar"
Here are the WoWAce addons being updated that the issue occurs after.
Does anyone know which of the above addons are causing this conflict?
In the last page of Aloft official thread, Clarox found that newest Skinner skins the nameplate and its turned on by default. Turn it off and it should work as normal.
